Why do you want to join the San Andreas Dept of Public Safety
The reason I want to join SADPS is because I see a lot of great rp opportunities in becoming a part of SAHP, I have also seen that being a part of one of the police departments is very fun and i’ve seen officers, Troopers and Deputies just laughing and having fun while being on duty and having no calls to respond too , I’ve also seen how professional deputies, troopers and officers are during traffic stops or other situation were patience is needed, I see myself as very mature for my age. I have a lot of experience with rp in general and I've been on ADRP for about 7 months so I have knowledge about how certain people and groups act and how to handle them. I understand that it takes a lot to become a part of the police force but with the right training, I think that I can become a great trooper and that I can even help out in the city when there are no officers on duty. I have a lot of experience handling stressful situations, the reason being I'm currently an EMS and I take care of people who are in life threatening moments to help them survive and recover as good as possible. I would really enjoy catching criminals and sending them away to prison and learning them a lesson until they come out. An opportunity to become a part of SAHP is for me a very chance to enhance my rp and interactions while on traffic stops and other situations. I also have some knowledge of being a police because I watch a lot of Live PD and Donut Operator.
What can you bring to the Police Department?
Despite my age, I think that the SAHP would be a great fit for me, the reason being I have a lot of experience (450+ hours) regarding roleplay and staying in character which is for me a very important thing while in the city. A necessary for being a cop for me is using common sense to deal with people and rp situations, as a + I see myself as a great driver since I in my young age played a lot of racing games for over 2 years, I know how cars handle and how to drive them effectively to stop criminals from fleeing. I’m in the Central European Standard Time zone which is a very unusual time zone on this server and I see myself being active during the early hours when no one else is on duty to prevent even more crime and stop criminals, I'm currently on summer break but when I get back in school i’ll be on maybe 1-2 hours a day. I think me being on duty while no one else is on duty helps us keep the city that little bit more safe. I take this very seriously and I'm not here to goof around, I'm willing to do what it takes to become a trooper.
SCENARIO: You're on a 10-11 (Traffic Stop) and you're stood at the drivers window and you're about to write him a ticket. The passenger of the vehicle exits the vehicle and draws a gun on you, the passenger orders you to walk back to your vehicle and handcuff your self to the wheel. What would you do in that situation? (Put as much detail in as possible)
First of all when I would walk up to the vehicle I would make observations such as if they are known criminal, if they have some sort of holster or weapon on them to know if I should be very cautious or not. If I suspect something dangerous I would call for traffic stop backup. Secondly I would always be ready to draw my firearm as quickly as possible to stop him from harming me or others. I would have drawn my gun and told dispatch in case the passenger was getting out of the vehicle hastily or if he would’ve made any sudden movements inside his car so if I get shot or kidnapped they could send additional units. If I am not fast enough to draw my gun and he or she holds me at gunpoint then I would put my hands up and follow their instructions, if I am far away so that he won’t hear me I would call for backup or I would press the panic button (F10) and that means that every officer would break and go code 3 to my location. If the person holds me at gunpoint and takes my communication devices though I would have to listen to the person and do as he or she says unless I have a very, very good opportunity to make my escape which I probably wouldn't have. If the person would tell me to handcuff myself to the wheel then I would do that because the person could do anything with his gun later on I would remember their car and their appearance so that I could later put out a BOLO and we might catch them.
SCENARIO: You have initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle, you clocked the person going 100 MPH down the freeway with your radar... The person disagrees with you and says that they were not speeding. What would you do in that scenario? (Put as much detail in as possible)
I would always approach the person in a calm manner so that they don’t get upset in any way. I would first ask the driver if he or she knew what made me pull the person over to try to maybe get the person to admit that he or she was in fact speeding. If the person doesn’t know what made me pull her or him over then I would tell the person that he or she was speeding. If the person doesn’t agree then I would tell them that yes you were actually speeding. I would ask the person if he or she would want evidence and then I would show them on my radar that I had locked a speed of 100mph and I would show him or her the dashcam footage to try and show the person that they were speeding. If the person still would not agree to sign the ticket then I would tell the person that they have the right to take it to court in which case the judge would decide whether the person should pay the ticket or not. Now maybe the person would pay the ticket to avoid going to court and spending a lot of time to go to court or the person would be so determined so that they would go to court and actually fight the ticket which they have the right to do.
SCENARIO: There is a 10-90 (Robbery) in progress at the Pacific Standard Bank, there is a black BMW outside that is unlocked, you have confirmation there is no hostages or weapons. There are 6 officers on scene including yourself, plan how you're going to handle the situation. (Put as much detail in as possible)
First of all I would wait for all officers to arrive on scene. I would tell later try to get contact from inside of the building, then i would get 1-3 different officers to search different areas around the building for a potential flank or threat. For example one of the officers could search around the building to check that no one is there, one officer could check around other buildings and one officer could check rooftops or other kinds of overwatches to make sure that no one would be ambushing. I would then give out different roles to different officers. For example, one officer could stay in their car ready to chase the suspect if the suspect comes running out of the building, maybe another person could be outside on overwatch and the other four could breach the building. I would run the plate of the BMW outside to check who owns it or if it is stolen. I would also place spikestrips around the car so that if the suspect drives off the tires would burst. Now I would try to convince the suspect to come out with no weapons so that nobody would get hurt in which case I would just arrest the suspect and take him or her to the station. The suspect likely won’t go down without a fight though. Since there are no hostages the suspect can’t negotiate with us. When everyone is ready we would line up two officers at the back entrance and two in the front. Now we would tactically breach the building according to our training, checking every corner. When we locate the suspect we would tell him or her to put their hands up if the suspect shows any aggression or pulls out a weapon we would have to neutralize him or her with a taser or a gun depending on the situation.
